How to Compare Wholesale Lash Quotes Before Ordering

Compare wholesale lash quotes by product specifications, quantity, packaging, sample costs and shipping scope before choosing an offer.

A useful wholesale lash quote tells you what you will receive, in what quantity, and which costs are included. Before comparing the total, check that each supplier has priced the same request. Two prices per box can describe different products, different pack sizes or different packaging work.

For lash brands, wholesalers and distributors, the first task is to make those differences visible. Use one product brief for every quotation, then record any changes or exclusions next to the price.

Start with the same product specification

Separate professional lash extensions from DIY lash clusters in your request. Within each product group, identify the selected style with a product code, an agreed sample reference or a clearly labeled photograph. A description such as “natural lashes” leaves too much open to interpretation.

Record the specifications relevant to that product. These may include length arrangement, curl, thickness where applicable, cluster specification and tray layout. Do not assume that a style name or D label means exactly the same thing across suppliers. Ask each supplier to identify the actual product being quoted.

If a supplier proposes an alternative, keep it on a separate line. You can evaluate the alternative, but it should not silently replace the product used for your original comparison.

Check what “one box” includes

Write down the pricing unit and its contents. Is the offer per tray, per retail box or per set? How many trays or clusters does that unit contain? Are the product, insert card and outer box all included?

For example, a quote for one tray in existing packaging and a quote for a branded box containing multiple trays describe different offers. Dividing both totals by “boxes” does not resolve that difference. First confirm the contents and packaging of each unit.

Compare unit prices only after the product and pack configuration match. Keep different configurations separate rather than forcing them into a single average price.

Separate product pricing from project charges

A quotation may include several kinds of work. Ask which costs apply to the order and whether they are included in the unit price or listed separately:

  • The lash product and its standard packaging.
  • Brand artwork or packaging layout work.
  • Printing and any agreed packaging changes.
  • Existing product samples or samples with your branding.
  • Shipping and other charges listed in the proposal.

An unlisted charge is not automatically zero. Mark it “not stated” until the supplier confirms it. If a fee is described as a one-time charge, ask what that means for an unchanged reorder and for a later artwork change.

Use the same quantities and delivery scope

Ask suppliers to quote the same quantity for each configuration. Clarify whether any minimum applies to the whole order, an individual style, a specification or a packaging design. A low headline minimum alone does not tell you how your selected assortment will be priced.

Use the same destination and ask where the quoted delivery service ends. Record whether shipping is included and which other delivery-related charges remain outside the quotation. A product-only quote and a quote including transport need to be separated before you compare their totals.

If the shipping charge is still being calculated, keep it as an open item. Do not present a partial total as the final amount payable.

Compare timing and sample scope

Ask what starts the production timeline: order confirmation, payment, artwork approval or another agreed step. Record production and transport as separate stages, together with any decisions that must be completed first.

Samples also need a defined purpose. An existing product sample can help you review a lash style, but it does not confirm a packaging design that has not been made. A sample with your branding may cover a different scope and cost. Use a sample inspection record to keep the accepted details and remaining questions clear.

Copy this quotation comparison table

Fill in the requirement column first. Then compare each offer against it. Use “not stated” for missing information and “not applicable” only when that item does not apply.

Resolve the differences before choosing an offer

Send back the open questions and request a revised quotation when the scope changes. Keep the final price together with the product specification, packaging version and delivery arrangements it covers. This gives you a clearer reference for both the first order and future reorders.
